Our dermatologists have extensive experience in both private practices and hospital care, including research and teaching future generations of dermatologists. How Does the Examination Work?
The examination is done through a dermatological mobile application called "MedInnoScan". Patients can take photos conveniently and discreetly at home and answer a questionnaire. Most of our dermatologists have nationwide coverage and aim to respond within one or two days. Each doctor in the list indicates the estimated time for completing the examination report. The chosen doctor will assess your images and provide therapeutic suggestions and treatment options based on the results. If needed, they can write a prescription and generate the examination report. The prescription will be sent electronically to the cloud, allowing you to pick it up at any pharmacy in the country after verifying your identity. You will receive the encrypted report, invoice, and instructions from the dermatologist via email. To open the report, you'll need to enter a code assigned to you in the app, which can be found in the settings menu (accessible by clicking on the gear icon). If further tests are required, your dermatologist will inform you.

What is the cost of an online examination?
The price of the service varies depending on the doctor, but on average, it is €60.
This amount is to be paid through the website prior to the commencement of the examination.
If the doctor deems it necessary to have a personal meeting based on the submitted questionnaire and photos,
there will be no additional charge for the in-person consultation.
In such cases, the doctor will promptly provide a free, personal consultation appointment
within the shortest possible time frame (1-2 days) at their well-equipped private practice.
How can I take a good photo to assist the doctor's work?
You can take the photos anywhere, even from the comfort and privacy of your own home. It is preferable to take all the photos in natural daylight. If there is insufficient natural light, you can go to a well-lit area in your home. This can include the bathroom if the lighting there is strong. The more light you have during photography, the sharper the image will be. Initially, it is recommended to take at least 1-2 photos from a distance (approximately 1 meter) to show the location of the condition on your body. For the rest of the photos, take close-up shots from four different angles. During each photography session, keep your phone steady in one place to allow the autofocus to work properly. If you are unable to see the screen while taking the photo, it is better to use a mirror. For example, in the application, you can take a photo of your own face by standing in front of a mirror and capturing the reflection.
Can I purchase an examination using a health savings account?
Yes, it is indeed possible. Towards the end of providing the details of your symptoms, please enter the name of your health savings account and your membership identification number. The doctor will issue the invoice accordingly.
How do you ensure the security of my data?
The data is stored on a server located in Germany with complete encryption. During transmission, only encoded data, which is incomprehensible to external parties, is sent and received.
